The Maritime Festival starts Saturday, August 27 and continues through World Port Days on September 3 and 4. WaterWalks will be on the quay near the Maritime Museum with Classroom on the Water those days. We will give short free courses (20 minutes plus excursion of about half an hour) that the whole family can participate in. With our app you report what you experience.

The skipper of De Volharding will tell you about his ship and take you on board. Photographer Theo de Man will teach you to look better, like a photographer. And together you will go into the Leuvehaven to take the best pictures.

Special are the workshops with ALL CAPS, these do take longer, two hours. In this creative workshop you will create your own graffiti artwork with chalk spray cans on the quay.
